Power
Supply Unit with Battery Backup
A mains powered, user selectable output (1225), battery supported
Standby Power Supply, housed in a robust, compact wall mounted
steel fabricated case (except 4605) with a lift-off hinged front
panel. Case is epoxy powder coated, with cable entry provided by
20mm conduit knock-outs located in top and bottom & each side
of the case. A battery charging output is provided to continuously
charge up to either 1 x 12v 7 A.H or 2 x 12v 3 A.H (connected in
series) Sealed Lead Acid Batteries. This output is fused and current
limited against the high demand made by a battery if it has been
allowed to go beyond its fully discharged point. In the event
of a mains power failure, standby power is automatically provided
from a battery or batteries connected to the battery charging
output (batteries sold separately).
NOTE: It is recommended that
the power supply unit be sited as close as possible to its
load, and a minimum conductor C.S.A. of 0.75mm sq. (24/0.2) with
a maximum run length of 12 metres at full load, be used.
