4550 Deadlock Lever
Provides easy unlocking of MS® deadlocks by approximately 1.4kg (3lb) of downward pressure. Lever is sprung-loaded to horizontal and relocks by upward motion from horizontal. Lock status is shown by indicator.

	Housing: 182mm x 34mm x 26mm. Aluminium casting.
	Lever: 96.5mm x 27mm. Aluminium. Projection from face of door: 57.4mm. Available in Aluminium, Bronze and Black finishes.
	Operation: Turn lever downward 90º to unlock. When released, lever returns to horizontal. Turn lever upward 90º to relock. Key operation from outside is not affected.
	Indicator: Shows ‘LOCKED’ in red or ‘OPEN’ in black on a white background. Indicator is driven by lock bolt itself.
	Stop Clearance: Lever housing projects 17.5mm (1 1/16”) forward of cylinder backset centreline. Depending on height of door stop and width of door/jamb gap, it may be necessary to modify the stop to clear the housing.
	Compatibility: Suits MS®1850S and MS®1850SNSI deadlocks (except 22.2mm (7/8”) backset models), MS®1860 deadlock and 1870 flushbolt. The 4550 is not suitable for use with the MS®+1890 latch/deadlock.
