Company History
Adams Rite was formed in 1946 in Los Angeles, California and over the years we have created a network of outlets stretching across the globe, including Europe, the Middle East, the Far East, Australasia, South Africa, South America, the USA and Canada.

Adams Rite Manufacturing Company were the originators of the swing bolt mechanism, developed to cope with locking narrow stile aluminium doors, which remains the main method of locking on the vast majority of commercial aluminium doors. This is just one example of the technical advancements we have developed over the years and we will continue to refine and improve Adams Rite products to be ever more secure, reliable and innovative.

During 2002 Adams Rite was able to develop further product sectors with the acquisition of Markar Products Inc in the USA.

Markar Architectural Products Inc., based in New York State manufactures a complete range of continuous hinges.

We are able to offer our customers several strong independent brands and help fulfil our vision to provide our customers with a comprehensive line of products to meet their needs.

With the development of further product sectors Adams Rite is using experience and innovation to produce quality products for existing and new markets.
