Adams Rite's Latest Innovation Rates Among the Best for 2008

The latest innovation from Adams Rite, leading security solutions provider, has been recognised as one of the best of 2008 by the Construction Products Association.

Sentinel 6, a new deadlock developed by the company, has been featured in the prestigious publication, Construction Products Innovation & Achievement 2008.  The publication is an important and popular showcase for the industry’s most innovative products and processes.

The Sentinel 6 is a mortise mechanical deadlock which has specifically been designed for the commercial aluminium door market.  It has been designed to meet the stringent requirements of BS EN 12209, the European single point mechanical lock standard, and it achieves security grade 6; the first for this type of lock.

The Construction Products Association acts as a single voice to promote and campaign for construction product manufacturers and suppliers, in order to support a growing and profitable industry.

Andy Stolworthy, Product Manager for Adams Rite, commented: “We are really pleased that Sentinel 6 has been included in the Construction Products Innovation & Achievement 2008 publication.  We invest heavily in research and development at Adams Rite and it is very important to us to make sure our new products are constantly achieving the highest standards.  The Sentinel 6 has been designed to meet the stringent requirements of BS EN12209, achieving security grade 6.  We know of no other deadlock specifically designed for aluminium doors that has achieved this standard – making it and Adams Rite, leaders in the field.”
